The Lost Search Party („The LSP“) ist eine vierköpfige, unabhängige Rockband aus Medway, Kent, Großbritannien (UK). Die Band wurde im Jahr 2019 gegründet. Seitdem haben The LSP zahlreiche Shows gespielt, 5 Singles aufgenommen und veröffentlicht. Mit der EP-Veröffentlichung sammelten sie direkt viele Social-Media-Follower auf ihren Kanälen und genießen den Zuspruch einer Reihe lokaler, nationaler und internationaler Radiosender, einschließlich der BBC!

The Lost Search Party sind von musikalischen Einflüssen u.a. durch Künstler wie Michael Jackson, James Brown, Led Zeppelin, Queen, The Eagles und The Beatles inspiriert. Sie sagen selbst: „Aktuell sind wir auch vom Erfolg der US-Rocker Dirty Honey und Greta van Fleet begeistert! Wir möchten, dass unser musikalisches Spektrum breit ist und glauben, dass unsere Musik dies widerspiegelt.“

The Lost Search Party veröffentlichten am 01.08.2019 ihre Debütsingle „Backseat Lover“ mit großem lokalen Erfolg. Dies löste den Funken aus und wurde der Beginn der Beziehung der Band zum lokalen Radio und wurde bis heute tausendfach in den sozialen Medien angesehen. Die Band knüpfte schnell an den Erfolg ihres Debüts mit zwei weiteren Veröffentlichungen an; „Evil Girl“ am 20.09.2019 und „Oh My Lord“ am 12.07.2019. Beide Songs waren in der lokalen Szene erfolgreich und wurden regelmäßig im lokalen Radio gespielt. „Getaway“ wurde dann am 14.05.2021 als Hauptattraktion veröffentlicht, direkt danach folgte dann die Veröffentlichung der EP „An Invitation To…“ am 28.05.2021.

Bedenkt man, dass die Band aktuell noch einem Mangel an Finanzierungsmöglichkeiten, Managment und Werbung unterliegt, ist ihr Erfolg und Kampfgeist beachtlich und hebt sich deutlich von anderen Bands ab, die bessere Startrahmenbedingungen haben. The Lost Search Party erzielte bereits Hörerfolge sowohl bei nationalen als auch internationalen Radiosendern. Sie wurden bei Hard Rock Hell Radio und Radio Ashford als „Band der Woche“ und „Platte der Woche“ ausgezeichnet. Im März 2023 wurde die Single „No Regret’s“ sogar im Rahmen einer BBC-Sendung auf BBC ausgestrahlt bei der Kent persönlich eingeladen war. Weitere neue Songs und Shows werden bald folgen!

The Lost Search Party (“The LSP”) are a four piece, independent rock band from Medway, Kent, UK. The band formed during 2019. Since then, The LSP have gone on to play numerous shows, record and release 5 singles, record and
release an EP, amass immediately many social media followers at their channels and enjoy radio play on a number of local, national and international radio stations, including the BBC!

The Lost Search Party consider artists including; Michael Jackson, James Brown, Led Zeppelin, Queen, The Eagles and The Beatles as musical influences. The LSP say: „In the modern day, we are excited by the success of US rockers, Dirty Honey and Greta van Fleet! We believe the musical spectrum to be broad and believe that our music is reflective of that.“

The Lost Search Party released their debut single ‘Backseat Lover’ on the 01/08/2019 to much local success. It sparked the beginning of the bands relationship with local radio, and to this day has been viewed over thousand times on social media. The band quickly followed up on the success of their debut with two subsequent releases; ‘Evil Girl’ on the 20/09/2019, and ‘Oh My Lord’ on the 07/12/2019. Both songs have enjoyed success on the local scene and have made steady rotation on local radio. ‘Getaway’ was released on the 14/05/2021 as the main draw and promotion, timed to coincide with the release of EP, ‘An Invitation To…’ on the 28/05/2021.

Considering that the band is currently still suffering from a lack of financing options, management and advertising, their success and fighting spirit is remarkable and clearly stands out from other bands that have better starting conditions. The Lost Search Party has already achieved listening success on both national and international radio stations. They also were featured as ‘Band of the Week’ and ‘Record of the Week’ at Hard Rock Hell Radio and Radio Ashford respectively. In March 2023, the single „No Regret’s“ was even broadcast on BBC as part of a BBC program to which Kent was personally invited. More new songs and shows coming soon!
