The Mariana Hollow ist ein kraftvolles Quintett aus dem Großraum London. The Mariana Hollow are a powerfully original quintet hailing from Greater London. Conceived in 2008, the band have independently recorded and released an EP and two albums – “Scars, Not Wounds” (2013), “Velvet Black Sky” (2012), and “Coma Heart” (2010) – to critical acclaim from publications such as Kerrang!, Sonic Cathedral and Rock Sound. And now The Mariana Hollow dropped out the official lyric video for the song „Circus“ from their new upcomming album „The Abandoned Parade“…
Das Video wurde vom Gitarristen Gabriel Alexandre entworfen und fegt durch das apokalyptische Stadtbild, das auf dem Kunstwerk von The Mariana Hollows kommendem Album „The Abandoned Parade“ zu sehen ist, und verkörpert auf perfekte Weise ihre lyrische Geschichte über Tod, Zerstörung und sozialen Umbruch. Dies ist der erste Einblick in die einzigartige Mischung aus eindringlichen Melodien, zwei Gitarrenlinien und klopfenden Rhythmen, die ihr auf dem kommenden Album hören werdet, wenn es im Mai 2019 veröffentlicht wird. Sängerin Spinky sagt: „Circus handelt von den beiden Extremen, Benachteiligung und Wohlstand, in unserer Gesellschaft und von denen, die am meisten denjenigen mit dem Geringsten den Rücken kehren.“

Created by guitarist Gabriel Alexandre, it sweeps through the apocalyptic cityscape featured on the artwork of The Mariana Hollow’s upcoming album „The Abandoned Parade“, and it perfectly encapsulates their enthralling lyrical tale of death, destruction and social upheaval. This is the first glimpse into the unique blend of haunting melodies, twin guitar lines and pounding rhythms that you’ll hear on the upcoming full length when it’s released in May 2019. Vocalist Spinky says „Circus is about the extremes of disadvantage and wealth in our society, and about those with the most turning their backs on those with least.“
